What type of projects can be funded?
We expect to fund a wide range of activities and services across three main themes: meeting space; recreation; and community green space. Examples include projects to develop local parks, community paths and gardens, play parks and allotments. We also expect to fund improvements to community centres and village halls to provide facilities for community activity and to make buildings more economically and environmentally sustainable. We expect that these projects will mainly be capital projects with elements of revenue funding. We may also consider funding suitable revenue projects that meet all three of our Community Spaces Scotland outcomes.
